Ardena launches online Biomarker Catalogue: 228 markers, one quote request

October 8, 2026

Ardena has launched a searchable Biomarker Catalogue on its website, giving sponsors a faster route from biomarker selection to a bioanalysis quote.

The launch responds to a recurring need among sponsors: confirming early whether a provider has experience with a given biomarker, on which platform and in which matrix and species, before committing samples and timelines. The catalogue moves this first screening step online.

The catalogue lists 228 biomarkers across 12 disease areas, including neurology, immunology, cardiovascular, metabolic, nephrology and respiratory. The catalogue covers three analytical platforms: immunoassay (ligand binding), LC-MS/MS and flow cytometry.

Immunology (66 markers) and metabolic (53) are the largest areas, followed by neurology (42), nephrology (34), endocrinology (31) and cardiovascular (29). Dermatology, respiratory, infectious disease, pain, and oncology and immune cells complete the range. As many markers are relevant in more than one therapeutic area, each entry is tagged with every area where it applies.

Users can search by marker name, alias or class, filter by disease area and platform, and build a shortlist. A single quote request, with study phase, species, matrix and sample numbers, goes straight to Ardena’s bioanalytical scientists, who reply within one business day with a tailored quote.

“Building your biomarker strategy is a complex process and identifying a partner who already has experience with your intended analytes is key to implementing it. Ardena’s Catalogue streamlines the unnecessary back and forth and gives you a path to a quote faster,” said Nick Woudberg, Business Development Director at Ardena.

Markers not yet listed can be requested; the team will assess how to set them up.
