We take a science-based approach to reducing our environmental footprint, fostering a safe and inclusive workplace, and upholding strong governance practices.

Our commitment extends beyond our own operations as we actively engage with our suppliers to promote sustainable practices throughout our supply chain. Through our participation in the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and transparent reporting, we are driving meaningful change for a healthier planet and future.

At Ardena, we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations and contributing to a healthier planet. We recognize that climate change poses serious risks to global health, so we take proactive steps to minimize energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste across all sites.

We focus on reducing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, increasing the use of renewable energy, and improving facility efficiency. By embedding environmental responsibility into our operations and supply chain, we support a more sustainable pharmaceutical industry.

Labor and Human Rights

Labor and Human Rights

At Ardena, we uphold fundamental human rights and fair labor standards across our organization and global supply chain. Guided by the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the International Labour Organization’s core conventions, we promote dignity, non-discrimination, and fair working conditions, including safe workplaces, fair wages, and freedom of association.

We strictly prohibit child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking, and expect the same standards from our suppliers and partners. Ardena fosters a diverse and equitable workplace where everyone is respected and has equal opportunities to thrive. We encourage open dialogue and protect whistleblowers so concerns can be raised without fear of retaliation.

By embedding these principles into our operations and partnerships, we aim to create lasting positive impact for our employees, partners, and communities.

Ethics

At Ardena, we are committed to the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability. Ethical conduct is central to our culture and guides every decision we make.

Our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) has established an ESG Council of senior executives from all business units to oversee ESG governance and drive sustainability performance.

As part of our commitment to transparency, we will publish an annual sustainability report starting in 2026, sharing progress on environmental impact, diversity and inclusion, and sustainable procurement.

Through strong governance and open communication, we aim to build trust with our stakeholders and contribute positively to society.

Ardena holds a Bronze Ecovadis sustainability rating, recognising our structured approach to responsible business practices across ethics, labor and human rights, procurement and environmental management.

We are also listed on the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) dashboard. Ardena has committed to setting Near Term targets and to a Net Zero target. These recognitions highlight our focus on continuous, measurable ESG improvement.
