Operator for the position of Technician

We are looking for an operator to our production team in Södertälje.

Ardena Södertälje AB is part of the Ardena Drug Substance team and is responsible for producing active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for use in clinical trials. Additionally, we produce adjuvants and excipients for the Life Science market.

We are in an expansive phase and are now looking for the right person to join us in the Production Team.

Primary tasks will be:

  • Production in our distillation plants according to pre-approved procedures following ISO and cGMP standards.
  • Handling and preparation of equipment/raw materials/final products.
  • Routinely performing in-process control of settings; adjusting and monitoring processes independently.
  • General maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

You will be working in a group with skilled and experienced colleagues.

All work is expected to be performed independently, but in close collaboration with colleagues within and outside of the department.

Apart from work in the production facilities, scientists in the team also develop, design, implement and optimize process systems and process support systems.

The equipment you will be working with is mainly distillation plants but could also, based on your personal development, be reactors (50 – 2000 L), filters of varying sizes and preparatory liquid chromatography.

When joining our team, we will provide you with the relevant training and knowledge to independently operate equipment and processes, and once fully trained, we expect you to take responsibility for the project you are assigned to from start to finish.

Work is being performed in collaboration with colleagues from our site in Riga (LV).

The position is full-time permanent, with a 6-month trial period, with starting date as soon as possible.

Who are you?

We believe that you:

  • Have a high school education
  • Are fluent in English (in written and verbally)
  • Enjoy working in a group
  • Are flexible and can work in more than one project simultaneously
  • Are structured and able to follow written routines strictly

Furthermore, it is good if you:

  • Speak Swedish fluently
  • Have knowledge of GMP
  • Have experience from similar work

We offer a workplace with a good social environment and high individual responsibility. Everyone at Ardena Södertälje AB has different backgrounds, both educational and cultural, where each individual contribution is equally important.

You will be able to influence items in your day-to-day work, and suggestions for improvements are always appreciated.

You will be joining the company in a very interesting and expansive phase.

The application deadline is set to the 12th of January, but interviews can be held earlier so do not wait with submitting your application.
